How this works
Everything is on this page. Copy the words straight from the copy bank; download the images with one click. No account, no login, nothing to install.
To get the words
- Type your chapter name in the yellow bar at the top of this page. Every post and email updates as you type — you only do this once.
- Go to Social posts and pick your channel tab, or go to Emails.
- Click the Copy button — it reads Copy post, Copy caption or Copy email depending where you are. The text lands on your clipboard.
- Paste it into LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, or your email tool. Fill in anything still in [square brackets] — your name, your reason for going, your meetup day and time.
Nothing to download, and it works on a phone.
To get the images
- Scroll to Graphics and find the one you want. The table below says which size goes where.
- Click the image, or the Download PNG link under it. It saves at full resolution, ready to post.
- On a phone, press and hold the image and choose Save to Photos.
- Need to customize one? Grab the editable PowerPoint at the top of that section.
Every image here downloads at full resolution. Nothing on this page is watermarked or low-quality.
| File starts with | Size | Use it for |
|---|---|---|
| sq- | 1080 × 1080 | Instagram and Facebook feed posts |
| story- | 1080 × 1920 | Instagram and Facebook stories, Reels covers |
| li- | 1200 × 627 | LinkedIn and Facebook posts with a link |
| x- | 1600 × 900 | X |
| banner-linkedin | 1584 × 396 | Your LinkedIn profile header |
| zoom-background | 1920 × 1080 | Video call background |
To add your chapter name to a graphic
- Install the brand font first, or your text will look wrong: fonts.google.com/specimen/Inter → Get font → install.
- In Graphics below, click Download the editable PowerPoint, then open it.
- Click the text and retype it. Replace [YOUR CHAPTER], change the countdown number, or fill in the quote card.
- File → Save As, choose PNG, and pick Just This One when it asks. That PNG is your post image.
Slide 7 is a blank on-brand frame for anything this kit doesn't cover.
If something doesn't work
- The Copy button did nothing. Select the text in the box and copy it the normal way instead.
- Your chapter name disappeared. It's saved in one browser on one device — retype it if you switch computers.
- The PowerPoint text looks wrong. Inter isn't installed. Install it, then reopen the file.
- The download didn't start. Right-click the image and choose Save image as instead.
Four things that move the needle
Chapters that fill rooms do the same handful of things. If you only have an hour this week, do these.
1 · Post from people, not just the chapter page
A board member's personal post reaches further than the chapter account and converts better. Ask three officers to fill in the Why I'm going template and post it themselves.
2 · Lead with the money math
Membership is $199 and cuts $300 off registration — joining first costs $748 against an $849 non-member ticket, and you keep the membership for a year. Most people have never run that number.
3 · Give members the employer email
The biggest blocker is not price, it's approval. The manager-request email below removes that excuse in one paste.
4 · Name a meetup
"Our chapter is meeting at the Career Expo entrance Thursday at 9" turns a solo trip into a group plan. People register when they know who they'll be with.
Social posts, ready to paste
Written for each platform's habits — long-form on LinkedIn, short on X, visual-first on Instagram. Pair each one with the matching graphic below.
Chapter announcement
The [CHAPTER] Chapter is heading to Los Angeles. The National Black MBA Association's 48th Annual Conference & Career Expo runs September 23–25 at the L.A. Convention Center, and this year's theme is Pivot — which is exactly what a lot of us are doing right now. Three days of keynotes, breakout sessions, and a Career Expo where recruiters are in the room and interviewing on site. If you've been waiting for a reason to go, go with us. Comment below or DM me and I'll add you to the chapter thread. Register: https://nbmbaa.org/conference/registration/ #PIVOT2026 #NBMBAA #NBMBAA48 #Leadership

Why I'm going (personal)
I'll be in Los Angeles September 23–25 for the National Black MBA Association's 48th Annual Conference & Career Expo. Ask your employer
A note for anyone whose company will cover professional development: The NBMBAA Annual Conference is a legitimate line item. Three days of leadership programming, a Career Expo with active recruiters, and a national network your company gets access to through you. Five emails, in send order
The first four go from your chapter to your members. The fifth is for members to send to their own manager — that's the one that unlocks budget.
1 · Save the date
Subject: [CHAPTER] is going to Los Angeles — September 23–25 Hi [First name], The National Black MBA Association's 48th Annual Conference & Career Expo is September 23–25 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and the [CHAPTER] Chapter is going as a group. This year's theme is Pivot. Three days of keynotes and breakout sessions, plus the Career Expo, where recruiters are on site and interviewing. Two things to do this week: 1. Put September 23–25 on your calendar. 2. Register at https://nbmbaa.org/conference/registration/ — advance pricing runs through September 20, and rates go up on site. 2 · The cost case

NBMBAA professional membership is $199. Member registration is $549. Join first and you pay $748 — less than the non-member ticket — and you keep the membership for a full year. Membership: https://nbmbaa.org/membership/ Registration: https://nbmbaa.org/conference/registration/ Registering early also gets you earlier Job Board access and more interview slots — and the hotel block fills up, so book your room when you register. Membership
Affiliate free · High School (Leaders of Tomorrow) $15 · Student $49 · Professional $199. The professional tier pays for itself against the $300 member/non-member registration gap.
What a badge includes
Plenaries and keynotes · breakout sessions and activations · Career Expo and interview space · corporate hospitality receptions · networking events · NBMBAA Career Success Network resources.
Why early matters
Beyond price: earlier Job Board access and more interview opportunities. The hotel block also fills up — book your room when you register.
Groups
NBMBAA runs a separate group registration portal for non-exhibitor groups: group-nbmbaa2026.streampoint.com. Worth a look if you're moving more than a handful of members.
Staying on brand
If you make something that isn't in this kit, these are the rules. The blank frame on the last slide of the PowerPoint file is already set up correctly.
The official hashtags
#PIVOT2026 #NBMBAA #NBMBAA48 #Leadership
All four go on LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. Posts on X use just #PIVOT2026 #NBMBAA so every one of them clears the 280-character limit.
Type
Inter Bold for headlines, Inter Regular for copy. Headlines set in all caps, tight leading. If Inter isn't installed, Arial is the closest safe substitute — never swap in a serif.
The logo
Use the white-and-yellow lockup on dark or photographic backgrounds and the blue or purple lockup on light ones. Don't recolor it, stretch it, or set it on a busy part of a photo.
The arrow
The yellow arrow and the "Project Pivot" ribbon are the signature. One of them per graphic, running off the edge. Two competing arrows make it look busy.
Photography
L.A. imagery — palms, skyline, daylight — under a color wash from the palette, with type reversed out in white. Keep faces and hands clear of the type.
Four things to keep consistent
These are settled — nothing here needs a decision from you. Following them keeps every chapter's posts pulling in the same direction.
Use all four hashtags
#PIVOT2026 #NBMBAA #NBMBAA48 #Leadership — on LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. Posts for X use #PIVOT2026 #NBMBAA only, so each one stays under 280 characters. They're already at the bottom of every post in the copy bank.
The dates are September 23–25
That's what goes in public copy, and it's what every graphic in this kit says. If you write something from scratch, match it.
Don't promote speakers
Chapters promote the conference, not the lineup. Speaker announcements come from the National office — nothing in this kit names one, and posts shouldn't add any.
Quote prices from the table above
Member $549, non-member $849 through September 20; $599 and $929 on site. Verified from nbmbaa.org on August 21, 2026. If you're posting much later in September, glance at the registration page first.
